VISIT TO PALAZZO FARNESE AND REINASSANCE POTTERY LABORATORY
A journey in the Italian Renaissance with an interesting Renaissance Pottery Laboratory: we will spend the day in the heart of the ancient Duchy of Castro established by Pope Paul III Farnese.
Being easy, entertaining and rewarding, the programme has been conceived to suit every age group,
to go together with the visit of Palazzo Farnese in Caprarola, in the Viterbo area, considered as one of the most important Renaissance monuments in Europe.
The tour includes the guided visit of Palazzo Farnese with lunch/tasting of typical products and a Renaissance pottery laboratory. To make the visit more enjoyable, in a welcoming setting, a genuine lunch with dishes of the country tradition will be served by girls wearing period costumes.
Participants will have the opportunity to decorate and sign a pottery artefact, exactly in the same way as it was in use during the Renaissance period.
After the laboratory, in the afternoon, there will be a mouth-watering tasting of typical products of the Tuscia area offered by Tuscia Doc.
The proposal is recommended for pre-arranged groups.
